I have always been interested in working out and healthy eating but have only recently begun to focus on the products I use daily or my medications. My journey with Young Living started earlier this year after a series of events but mainly when my husband started having migraines again. He had been without them for almost 8 years but they suddenly came back. We couldn't figure out the triggers and he was unable to find relief through his prescriptions medications. I was determined to find an answer or solution. I researched A LOT, decided on Young Living, and took the plunge. I ordered the premium starter kit because I wanted a variety of oils at my fingertips. I was going to be ready for the next migraine. I can only look back and laugh....because the oils came in and the hubs wouldn't let me touch him with those "snake oils." He is straight up stubborn....and I have yet to fully win him over. Since I wouldn't be using the oils on him....I started experimenting with the oils on myself. Allergies, stomach/ear aches, muscle pain, skin care, mouth sores, scars, poor sleep.....these are a few of the areas I found relief with essential oils. 

I know there are skeptics.....I was one of them. As I started using the oils I kept a running list (for months) of the oil used, the date, the issue, and if it was success or not. I'll be honest and say that every attempt wasn't successful and I didn't always find relief with the first application. I had to be diligent, apply frequently, and even try different oils. Every body is so unique....you have to find what works for you. Young Living oils have allowed me to stop taking prescription allergy medications, fight off colds, sleep more soundly, and find relief on many other occasions. I'm thankful that I was introduced to this company, for having a natural/non-toxic option to turn to, and for the opportunity to share with others!
